I’ve been in this hobby for over 20 years and this is by far the best magnet scraper in existence. I’ve used plenty of brands I have numerous ones just laying around. I have a 450 gallon saltwater aquarium and usually the magnet ones will get the easy stuff off but I have to use a scraper with a holder and get my hand in the tank to get the hard stuff. I just cleaned years of hard stuck on algae in less than 10 minutes. I did not get wet did not even put my hand in the tank. The glass on my tank is very thick due to its size. This thing worked like magic I’d give it 10 stars if I could photos attached to my review speak for themselves the before and after. Thank you for this amazing project you have built.

I have a 120g with .5 inch glass and this thing works amazingly. I had a flipper foot that just couldn’t keep my glass clean so I broke down and bought this after the Latest BRS video recommendation. I got my glass clean in less than 5 min and for the first time in months I don’t see buildup on my glass that the flipper couldn’t clear off.

Costs more, works the best. So much better than the plastic ones [popular brand]. Makes cleaning my glass quick and no longer seems like a chore. Highest quality.

I go fed up with the magnets sold at the local pet store not being strong enough to get the job done in my 100 gallon tank. I would patiently scrub and scrub for half an hour to get the job done. Now it takes me about 5 minutes!This magnet is super strong and works great. Just be ware of a few things...- Don't let your kid's play with it. The strength of the magnets is dangerous- If you get your fingers between the two magnets, it is going to hurt... speaking from personal experience.- Be sure the cleaning pad is very clean before you start scrubbing. Because of the high clamping force, this magnet will scratch GLASS if there is even a little grit in there.I highly recommend this product.

At first, I couldn't get over the price for this thing. So much money for some fancy looking magnets! But then I got a 120g tank with 1/2" thick glass and needed something powerful enough to scrub the glass. I finally caved and gave this a shot after seeing all the positive reviews.Like others mentioned, this magnet is no joke, it's insanely powerful. I drop it into my tank and it takes me practically no time at all to clean the 3 sides of the 120g tank since the magnet is so strong. That being said, Algae Free (AG) sized there magnet cleaners appropriately and you shouldn't upsize or downsize the magnet. AG makes 4 sizes. The Piranha is for 1/4 - 3/8 thick tanks, The Hammerhead is for 1/2 - 5/8" thick tanks, The Tiger Shark is for 5/8 - 3/4" thick tanks, and the Great White is for 3/4" to 1" thick tanks.The cleaner also comes with replaceable/removable pads. The wood size has a super smooth velvet pad to keep the outside of the tank protected. The plastic interior one has the option for an acrylic pad or a glass pad. The package came with an extra of each pad which was nice. Lastly, the wood does look really nice, but since you really shouldn't keep the magnet permanently in your tank (corraline/debris build up which can then scratch the tank when you clean), who cares how fancy it looks?

Wow this magnet has a lot of grip, it makes my old Magna float seem like it is a refrigerator magnet. One swipe and all of the allergy is gone, no major scrubbing or moving it back and forth. the price is a little expensive but it is definitely worth it, no more frustration with weak magnet scrapers, this is a magnet that is definitely well purchased.
