My mechanic installed it for me, he said it was good quality, and my truck has been running great ever since (5k miles later)

Everything fit correctly and went on as it should. Haven't had any problems. Eliminated the horrible noise with the new water pump. Will definitely be purchasing from them in the future.

All bolt holes line up, no lips on the water pump and the gasket is high quality. The instructions have multiple different variations of instillation so make sure you are on the right page for certain specs. I purchased a tensioner separately but would get the kit with one if I need to do this again.

Everything fit as it should and seemed quality. This not an easy task so I cant rate ease of install. It would be no worse than any other tbelt kit. *** It did not come with a new hydraulic tensioner whch makes it a rather expensive kit after you by a tensioner. The 4.7 is an interference engine so the tensioner is a must.

It was time for the timing belt and water pump of my SC430 to be replaced - just in case. When I heard that Lexus wants $280 for the water pump alone, I decided to look for a cheaper alternative. The Aisin kit is a perfect match for my 2005 SC 430. The mechanic at my local Lexus dealer was happy to install these parts and told me that they are the exact same high quality parts that Lexus uses. At a fraction of the cost!

Have done a few of these Toyota V8 timing belt jobs, this kit works well. I always replace the tensioner as well since it's cheap and I don't want it to fail later. Easy job, no special tools required except something to hold the crank pulley when you tighten the big bolt in the center, I used a metal bar with a short length of serpentine belt on it to hold the pulley. Timing belts on this engine fail due to age and mileage. I believe Toyota recommends 90k miles and 7 years. In my experience, they will go 120k miles and 10 years MAX. Don't ever exceed this. After that, they could break at any time, as this seems to be when the stitching in the belt starts to fray away and also the tensioner pulley bearings start to wear catastrophically.
