Your cart is empty. For peace of mind while running errands we're using the Abus Bordo Granit XPlus 6500 Folding Lock to keep our bikes secure and theft-free. This bike lock stays neatly folded up and out of the way while not in use but folds out to accommodate our bikes while we're at the brewery or getting groceries. The smartly mounted bracket fits securely on our unused water bottle bosses, helping store the lock as easily as ever.

Not sure why this was sold as an Amazon Warehouse item unless it was because the very heavy lock began to tear the packaging. This is the longer version of the Granite X 6500, so it's MUCH easier to lock my ebike to a light pole or bike stand. The included bracket is very secure and holds the lock tightly to prevent rattling.Note that, while this is very secure and robust when compared to other folding locks, the pivot pins are a weak point in all locks of this type. The Granite X is inherently weaker than a heavy-duty, grinder resistant U-lock but what you loose in absolute security you gain in flexibility. I probably wouldn't choose this lock if I was locking my bike all day in a public place, but it definitely WILL discourage a thief when I make a quick shopping stop. (BTW, I ALWAYS remove the bike battery and take it with me EVERY TIME I park my ebike!)

I own too many locks!...Why...most of my high-end locks are secure but cumbersome!I mounted this to the frame of my ebike, takes up almost no space, looks great, easy to deploy.Security level is pretty high. When I work downtown (WPB) I use several locks that I leave on site at the job.But for any casual lockup while shopping etc, this lock is a great combination of convenience and Security!Highly recommend!

This folding lock is not light weight, I would not recommend it if you plan to carry it in your backpack. Since it fold up nicely, if you have it mount on the seat tube just like where your bottle cage goes, you barely notice it and there is no rattle while riding. As a folding lock, it provides a fair amount of security, just keep in mind you are getting the versatility, if you need top security go get a U lock instead.

This is generally a great lock, but because of it's weight, it can't be mounted to water bottle braze-ons. This is an older model that is vulnerable to bolt cutters, but I use it as a secondary lock or for very brief lock-ups, so I'm not very concerned about that and got a great pics on this one.It is also difficult to lock because the lock only rotates 90 degrees in each direction and the other end has to go into the lock straight. That means that the angle been the first and last segments can't be more than 90 degrees. (I need to try it more with the angle less than 90 degrees).I wish it were longer. The newer model is 10 cm longer, which would help.I would love a mounting bracket intended for a rear rack. Having no really good place to mount it (small mixte frame), I keep it in a pannier.

If you have a $2,000 ebike like I do, you probably know that it's a desirable target for bottom feeders. This is a good all-around lock for general purposes—brief stops at a café or canteen and longer periods in generally busy places. This ABUS Bordo is definitely not a flimsy lock. It's fairly heavy, but no lock will prevent theft by a determined thief with enough time and privacy to pick or cut through the lock. This folding ABUS is one of the better locks available and has a high security rating—not a cheap knockoff. However, because this lock is so heavy, the lock holder cannot be attached to the frame using the bottle cage screws but must use the included metal straps that wrap around one of the down-tubes. It's a good way to do it, but it blocks my step-through so I won't be using the holder at all. When I leave my ebike for any length of time, I use two different lock systems plus a motion-sensing alarm (perhaps one of the best deterrents). Unfortunately, ebike insurance is very expensive, so a good security system is essential. Also, I don't use quick-release wheel bolts and seat post clamps.

Like many reviews, the lock is great, however the mount is disappointing.I first attached it to my top tube, but after realizing that wouldn’t fit my needs, I moved it to my down tube. While taking it off, the straps got little holes in them. Although I was still able to get it mounted, it may bite me in the butt later on.Abus needs to sell strictly replacements of the straps, because as far as I can find I will have to buy a whole new mount costing me over $40 USD.

TLDR: This bike lock will fit around two stand up E-Scooters on either side of a pole/fence. The lock will fit on the E-Scooter stem. We've had no issues of the mount falling off. We've got two mid level electric stand up scooters to putt around town. I did not want to buy two locks, so I grabbed this one and hoped it would securely lock both together around a pole or fence post. Sure enough it does. One of our Escooters has a very wide stem so it's a snug fit but we're able to lock both escooters to a pole/post with just this one lock. It also mounted just fine to one of them, I love how easy it is to take on and off and folds up nicely. Have had no issues with the mount or lock falling off in the stowed position as some here have complained.(We're not exactly mountain biking with these though.)Would I leave my scooter overnight anywhere? Absolutely not. But I'd feel comfortable leaving this locked up for a few hours while I went shopping or out to eat. It is HEAVY, so you'll want to attach/mount it to your scooter or bike rather than carry it in a bag.

This 110 lock holder does not attach to bolts, you use straps - the straps need to go all the way around the frame, through slots on the holder, and then you screw these hex bolts down onto the straps to keep the holder in place. However, the straps are short for a big framed bike - and then, as you can see in the picture - the rubber backing of the lock holder is splitting so I'm not getting a good attachment. Maybe my holder is defective? I may try to exchange - but it is pretty frustrating. The instructions are not detailed enough -- there are a couple of things that look like they could be the slots. It's a 4.5 lb lock, I don't want to carry it in a backpack.
