This pack was super helpful and came with good quality braces and screws. Used this to repair an older bench that was in need of being more trustworthy to use for everyday use. This did the job great and at a very reasonable price.

These brackets seem to be well made and sturdy. For my project (reinforcing an old chair), I found I had to use longer screws than what came with the order. The supplied screws are pretty short. That said, I'm still happy with this item.

Well finished, with nicely beveled countersunk 'wells' for accepting the flat-head screws. No burrs..I was initially concerned that, because it was not specifically mentioned, the (also black-finished) screws would turn out NOT to be SS - but I "think" they are SS. That is, austenitic stainless steels like 304 CAN exhibit mild / weak magnetic properties upon being cold-worked (as a screw of course is): - and these screws do exhibit a very weak magnetic tendency - likely consistent with their also being 304 SS..The brackets themselves do not exhibit any detectable magnetic properties.Incidentally - and not mentioned in the description, the center of the hole (say on the 'vertical' leg - is very close to 19/32" (0.59475") - i.e., just short of 5/8" - above the 'floor' of the horizontal leg's 'interior' face. - in case that is of any interest.Recommended if they suit your application..
