Perfect replacement plug for trailer. There are 2 wiring patterns. So make sure you match it up to the old plug or lights will not work

This is an excellent connector! I used this to make a 7 way blade to 4 pin flat adapter for my car. The car I bought came with a towing setup, but it had a 7 way blade style connector mounted at the bumper and no adapter was included. I had a 4 pin vehicle side connector already so this was the perfect thing to make an adapter for cheap! This connector has screw terminals inside that hold wires very securely, I'm not worried about the wires coming loose inside at all. Conveniently, it has labels for wire color inside so it makes it very simple to wire up. I compared the wire colors inside beforehand, and can confirm they are all correct according to how a standard 7 way connector should be wired. At the end of the connector it has a set screw that can tighten and loosen the clamp to provide strain relief to the inner connections. This mechanism works well to clamp down on the wires tightly. Since I was using a 4 pin with this and not all 7 wires, I did have to wrap some tape around my wires near the end of the connector so that they would be clamped down tight enough. This shouldn't be necessary if you are wiring up all 7 pins. Overall, this is a very good option for wiring up things to your 7 way blade style trailer connector. The plastic feels thick and seems like it will hold up well.

It works great and the clamp system keeps the trailer wire tight. The plug does have wire colors indicated on it, but it doesn't necessarily match what the trailer diagram should be. Make sure you refer to a reliable source to confirm you're wired up correctly.

Well made product, Easy to work with. Fits my truck perfectly, not that i had nay doubts about it. Going to use this to add Reverse lights to my boat trailer. Very good price for the quality.

I had an old plug on the trailer that didn't fit my SUV. Easy to install and works well. No longer need an adapter to plug in the trailer.

I appreciate the hidden wire terminals. They keep the connections safe from dirt and moisture. Excellent design choice!

So far this plug is working out well. Overall build quality seems to be good. Connectors are nice and solid. The quality of the plastic appears to be good as well. The test of reliability with plugs is over time, so I will update my review if need be.

Plug was marked showing which wire is placed under the screw which made installation very easy.
