I needed this adapter for some auxiliary lights I attached to my e-bike carrier. The adapter holds firm when inserted and does the job I needed done.

I like everything about this trailer plug in & there’s nothing to dislike about it.

The plug works fine but be aware of that. When looking at the seven way side of the plug, the top left, bottom left and center prong do not provide any power to the four-way flathead on the opposite end. Opposite end. These are dummy plugs. You could probably take it apart and switch one of the wires from a prong you do not need power and connect it to another prong that currently has no power but if you're going to do this, it would be easier to buy an adapter that has some blanks and then you just switch the entire prong over. There are videos on YouTube to show you how to do this.
