We make our own vanilla and we leave half-and-half out on the counter every day for coffee! These jars will serve both these purposes. Giftgiving with these makes life easy and it fits just the right amount of vanilla. They are sturdy, solid and very durable.

I was unable to use this product. They arrived so pulverized with such small glass shards that I had to request a replacement. My request was cancelled. But even so, what I did see in the bag looked nothing like the product pictured. Very disappointing.

Quite disappointing. What was promised seems to be a miniature milk bottle-type jar with a leak-proof glass top. What arrived...well, I've included pictures so you can see. There were six of them, as promised, but that's the only resemblance. An ordinary jar, with a plastic top that doesn't seem to be leak-proof.

Nothing about the actual JARS received is in the description or pictures. These are jelly jars, not small milk bottles. The lids are black metal, not clear at all. You can get these free with jelly/jam at farmer's markets and grocery stores. They are not classic looking milk bottles with clear, leak proof lids. The packaging was thin, slightly-insulated, paper mailing envelope inside a plastic shipping envelope. There was no packing between the jars and it is a wonder they didn't break, as you can here them banging against each other when the package is moved. The value isn't worth the price. The pictures say it all.

At the time of this review the shipped items are different than the description but I actually love these little jars they are perfect for my purpose which is grinding fresh coffee the night before and having a place to store 6 tablespoons of coffee for 24 oz French press

Small and simple all true glass quality. Sizing is exactly as described and I appreciate the glass thickness.

First off, when I got the package, I could hear the unmistakable sound of broken glass. Sure enough, one of the jars was broken. Eh, that happens sometimes, and I normally wouldn't make a big deal about that. What really puzzled me was when I looked at the items and couldn't remember ordering anything like it. So I went back and looked at the listing photo. The picture there showed a sort of miniature old-fashioned milk bottle, with a clear lid (couldn't tell if the lid was glass or plastic, but it doesn't matter). What I received was a set of six (make that five, since one was broken) jelly jars. They've got faceted sides, and come with black metal lids. They're fine, I guess, and could be used for storing jelly, or honey, or what have you. But they are absolutely nothing at all resembling the photo from the listing. Yes, they're glass. Yes, they can hold things. But that's where the resemblance ends.
