I purchased this as part of a gift. I wanted to find something unique. I assumed it would be something humdrum that he would already have several. I was able to find his initial which is a Z and sometimes hard to find. He was so surprised and happy to get it and said he had never seen anything like this with his initial etched into the glass. It made me so excited that he got something not expected and my purchase was a big hit.

I originally ordered this because my husband and I are always mixing up our drinking glasses. I'll find a glass and ask "Is this my glass or yours?" So for that reason, this glass is perfect. I also liked the price point compared to others. But we've only had it for a few months and the etching is already starting to thin where we hold the glass with our fingers. We use it daily, and wash every few days. Not sure how long the etching will hold up, but I doubt it will still look nice in a few months.
