Fit well over most shoes. A bit challenging to get over tennis shoes, but they will fit. Allows for spins on typical dance floors. Good price for six pairs. We'll see how durable they are.

My son recently started ballroom dancing, and since I'm not sure if he'll stick with it, I got him these Dance Shoe Socks instead of the actual dance shoes. He wears them over his regular shoes, and they’re perfect for turning. I even gave a pair to one of his friends who was struggling to spin in his regular shoes. They worked like a charm!

I'm taking Bachata class and, between my sciatica and bad knee, it's been a little tough to do turns, even with my dance shoes on. I was starting to feel better, then the plantar fasciitis kicked in, and I had no choice but to start wearing sneakers to class. In sneakers, turns are more challenging. Full spins are impossible.I ordered these to put on over my sneakers so I could take turns easier, and wow! They really work. I threw these on over my really thick, wide, rubber recovery slides to test them out in my kitchen, and they were able to stretch to fit, so stretching to fit over my sneakers will be no sweat. I honestly wasn't expecting a dramatic difference in terms of traction, but I was really pleasantly surprised. I can't wait to take them to class and use them in the studio!

These have quite a bit of flex to them - I wear men size 10 and they fit over my own shoes. Maybe if you're size 12+, they might not work. They do allow for reduced grip on surfaces, but they will eventually wear out. If you need something more durable, you may need to look for something with suede soles.

6 Pairs Dance Shoe Socks on Smooth Floors Over Sneakers,Shoe Cover Dancing Shoe Sliders Ballet Dancers Turning Socks Protect KneesI got these to provide coverage for the spin spot on my split sole jazz shoes. The rubber spin spot is just not slippery enough for some of the Dancing I do, depending on the floor. It’s really nice to have some of these on hand in my dance bag to modify shoes as needed. Having a good spin on my shoes greatly improves impact on my knees.I tested these in a salsa class/social dancing and they felt great. Spinning and turning felt very smooth, and possibly smoother than my other Dance socks. My experience with dance socks in general is that they will wear out if you are doing high velocity spinning. These were acquired to replace another set that developed holes from spinning.A few things I like about this particular set: Having a set of six dance socks is fantastic as I find that I have to throw them in the wash after each use. This is because you will find out exactly how clean the floor you were dancing on is and the floors are generally not as clean as they look. In addition, these do not squeeze the toe box of my shoe, which I really appreciate. Overall, they seem like a great value for the money, and I would recommend them.
