I just used this bit to do about 20+hrs worth of machining in 6061 al. This included slotting, roughing, and finishing, all performed by the same mill. The finish quality, the chip consistency, the edge(burr) quality, all top notch. And the mills still sharp! Ill be replacing my brand name 1/8in bits for these!

This is high end quality and valued as such. The single time I used it it worked well. I look fwd to fully utilizing its ability to cut hardened 4150 steel without dulling too fast.

I needed a good end mill to flatten some small recessed area in an aluminum part. This bit worked much better than the typical 2 flute that I had available. The end is well made and cuts very smooth in aluminum and wood. My next project includes some small carbon steel parts. I feel confident that this bit will do the job.

They came in a standard container, nothing fancy there. Arrived sharp, not dangerously sharp but certainly had the correct edge I think. Sadly, I don't have a CNC so I am pushing these to the limit manually. Anyway, I started out plunging into aluminum and worked just fine. No coolant or anything needed spinning at ~1800 rpm. After that, I iterated on face milling with nearly full flute engagement. Chips were looking good and I moved up in .010" increments until I hit the 1/2 dia mark. I may have been pushing it too fast but it ended up breaking about halfway through the cut. Ahh well. The coating looks fine and the break point was at the collet interface. The interstitial metal didn't look bad or anything, I simply pushed it too hard.In any case, If I wasn't going to review this I wouldn't have pushed it so hard but for that it was doing, it did it well.

It is a carbide end mill and its sharpening looks good under magnifying glass. It is not one of the junky bits sharpened by hand. It is done by a machine and it looks good. There is an extensive marking on the shank, most likely by laser - it looks professional. The shank diameter is a true .1250", not 3 mm. I just hope the carbide grade and its coating are of good quality. This coating is new for me and I would appreciate a little more information about it in the product description.I did not try it on the machine yet, but when this day comes it will not be used on wood. Hard steel would be the best application for it.

I'm not a machinest by trade but do own a mini-mill. This cuts well but most brand new one do. Time will tell how well this holds up. It appears to be made in China so I won't hold my breath.

I recieved a 1/8" 4 flute end mill which admittedly is of limited use due to its size but I have used to clean up a couple corners in mild steel and aluminum parts and it has done exactly what it should have. Seems to be a good quality tool from my experiences.
