If you’re accustomed to using the standard angled hex-key hand tool, you’ll find these super easy to use and far more convenient. In my case, I needed to install several threaded inserts for a knock-down furniture project. Using these keys with a drill driver made quick work of the installation process, allowing me to set the inserts true to the axis of the hole without struggling with an angled hand tool. Additionally, the 4-inch length greatly improves visibility around the tip of the key and fastener. While the manufacturing quality is average—the 8 mm hex key isn’t symmetric and is slightly misshaped—they work well for home use and could potentially serve in a semi-professional capacity. The keys are compatible with the chucks of standard drill drivers as well as the quick-release holders found on some impact drivers.Overall, upgrading your tool kit with this set is worth considering if you frequently assemble furniture or regularly work with hex-head cap screws in your projects.

These are perfect for flat pack furniture assembly! I have a nice electric screwdriver and these make furniture assembly a breeze. Gone are the days of the tiny allen wrench. These give you a good bit of reach and the magnetic tips hold very strong. They are a nice dense metal, you can really feel the weight when holding the packs. Almost surprisingly heavy. They are made well and all of my tips are the sizes I was expecting. Great to have both metric and SAE. Perfect to add to the toolbox.

Some bolts are just awkwardly placed or in a tight recess making the usual short bits problematic due to the diameter of the receiving end of the driver you use. These long bits solve that problem magnificently. You get a good range of sizes in both Imperial and Metric and they are long! they are also clearly labeled in silver which on the black is very legible. So many bits are just stamped with a very shallow imprint making it almost impossible to read.I also like the soft bit holders which is a huge improvement over the rigid ones that are difficult to get the bits in and out. These have fitted the bits I have tried so far very well although I haven't tried them on anything super tight yet. The bits are magnetic, but the magnetic strength is quite low. But as long as you are careful the fastener will stay on the end.All things considered these are a great addition to the toolbox!

Just had to put together a couple patio chairs with a couple dozen hex screws each. I cut the cheap included wrench in half and used it in my drill, but the tip didn't make it to the end of the job. Right then, I knew I needed to add a good set of hex (Allen) head tips to my set. Used to be, hex heads were only used on add things like door knobs and that little combo set met most my needs, but more and more now I'm encountering SERIOUS screws with hex heads and those little tools just don't cut it. That includes a lot of the screws on my old deck. Why can't they just settle on something? So, this is a nice little set to have in your tool box. This variant is a little long, but you can order shorter if you like. They have a good magnetic tip that pass the paper clip test. Seems simple, but I have another set that will not hold a paper clip. I just need them to hold my screw. They are clearly marked to size and the set covers both metric and SAE. The tips are quality metal, although I've only done a few test screws so far and no problems with my impact. Virtually ANY tip I've used will wear out with repeated impact use, so if your impact starts spinning in the socket, your tip needs to be replaced. Hard to lose for

These hex bits are exactly as described in the description. They are durable and probably are S2 steel not that it would matter for most of them because I wouldn't crank very hard on the smaller sizes as I would be worries about stripping the female end on the fastener. They are magnetic, the holders and bits are labeled and east to read, and it is easy to remove the bits from the holder, but they don't fall out on their own. I'm often battling with my Milwaukee case to remove bits because the fit is tighter than it needs to be. Not a problem with these. I got these because I'm often removing lots of hex fasteners and it can take forever with an allen key. These bits make the job much easier and faster. You do need to be careful with these however to avoid stripping fasteners or fiber board if you use them on Ikea style furniture.

I remove and install a bunch of Allen bolts in my work and I've really been wanting a set of screwdriver hex key drivers to make this faster. What's kept me from getting them is my tool chest is really full and I had no idea where I'd put a full metric and SAE hex driver set. I saw this long hex bit set and a much better solution hit me. I ordered this set of metric and SAE impact bits along with a Wiha magnetic bit driver that's basically a thin screwdriver handle with a magnetic hex hole in the end instead of shaft poking out. I slip one of these bits in and I have an easy to use drive tool for whatever size I need and the best thing is all of this takes up very little space in a tool drawer. This set up has just worked out great so far, I couldn't imagine a better solution for my needs. I've used these for a bit and they seem to be well made and offer a tight fit to corresponding sized fasteners. I don't really have any complaints, maybe the rubber bit holder is a tad snug and I have to yank pretty hard to get a bit out but if it were looser then maybe the bits would come out and roll around inside the drawer.I'm very pleased to have found these as an aspect of my daily life has gotten quicker and easier.

I use the 1/8th inch bit and the 5/32 bit on a project, and they worked great. I was about to leave a five star review when I glanced at the 8 mm bit. See the photos: the business end is machined wrong. I don’t have any 8 mm hex bolts to test it on, but I doubt that bit would drive properly without slipping. This is an excusable for bits designed to apply high torque.
