If you do a lot of fabrication with any metal, these are what you want in your tool box. These drill/taps are so easy to use, and a huge time saver. The bit is super sharp, and drills great, then it pulls the tap section into the hole, cutting in threads in one quick minute. I love them, I've got a small set, plus get larger ones as needed. You can't find these in box stores, the price is great, for such a combo!! Get it, you'll wonder how you didn't sooner!!

I have used a single tap to tap over 40 holes in 3/16" stainless tubing and still holding strong. Will purchase again.

quickly drill and tap a hole love that. But once you start do not back the tap to clear chips the flutes will do that if you back the tap before finishing the hole you will break the bit. just drive on until completed. also be careful when done and make sure you are following the threads that you just tapped.

Needed to drill and tap an aluminum light pole. Sprayed a little oil on the bit and it worked perfect!
