I tested the fit vs other bits and checked with my caliper and these have very low tolerances. This is a very good thing when working with do-it-yourself furniture assembly. Most of the hard ware that comes with cheap furniture is soft and is easy to round out so you want a tight fit. I’m not using these with an impact so use at your own discretion. In my experience, installing fasteners with a head size of 4mm or smaller should never be impacted anyways because it usually requires a lower torque rating and will end up damaging more than just the bit or fastener.

I purchased this set for breaking loose some older threadlocked smaller screws. I made the mistake of using a non-impact rated bit and had it break.I have used this set several times now. Overall, most bits have retained their shape after use. My only complaint is that they do not fit the tightest. This has led to some head strip outs . In fairness this has only happened on screws that were already suspect to begin with.
