My former mailbox was crushed by a rookie driver. I saw this mailbox, thought it looked nice but in person it looks amazing.Installation was a breeze, box opens and closes so smoothly I had to make sure it was fully closed for the first few days.

The mail box looks great. If you install a wood post with concrete it is solid. Delivered on time. Good value compared to other options.

I think this mailbox post has a stately appearance once installed. I’m happy we settled on this one. My husband used the existing 4x4 post from our original post after removing the portions that were not needed. I was amazed that this post slipped right over it because the post looked too small online. Pertaining to height, he installed according to USPS guidelines, however, it was too tall for my liking. I really love the way it looks after he cut the post down about five inches. We added a vinyl 4X4 skirt and replaced the post cap with one that matches the cap on our fence, purchased via Amazon also. Looks great! My neighbor now wants to replace hers.

I was pleasantly surprised by every aspect of this post and box combo. It was packaged very well and assembly was really easy thanks to some great engineering they put into the design.The hanging sign with my address looks fantastic. I installed a cedar mailbox post about 10 years ago, thinking that it would last a long time. It didn't... I have been needing to replace it for a whole now, and the COVID stay at home orders took my not having time excuse right off the table. It was high on my list of things to do when I happened to notice a neighbor installing a very nice looking mailbox. I decided that I really liked it, and looked for something similar. It didn't take me long to find the exact one, so I bought it. A little neighborhood continuity in that department is not a bad thing.As for the product itself, it is very nice, and clearly good quality. Installation was easy, apart from digging the stupid hole (can't blame the post for that). The unit assembles super easily, and looks like it will last. One note to add regarding installation; the instructions could be re-ordered. I suggest assembling the arm that the mailbox attaches to prior to attaching it to the post. Not a huge deal, but easier to work with it while off the post. The installation instructions have that being done in the other order.Also, I can't figure out what some people are complaining about in the reviews. Small mailbox? Uh, it's a regular old sized mailbox. Mail fits just fine. Sure, Amazon couldn't fit in a delivery of, say, a bean bag chair, but plain old mail fits just fine. It's the same size as every other standard size box. Caps falling off? Mine don;t, but that seems like an easy fix. Seams being visible? Not on mine.Anyway, great mailbox post that I expect to last, as PVC won't rot.

The product is well engineered and constructed with high quality material to improve durability and appearance.The mailbox has gotten numerous thumbs ups from neighbors.Please note manufacturer mounting directions recommend using concrete to mount the base post securely.Overall a great value for the price!!
