Was a bit worried about buying this and it actually working. It cut through 16inches of bricks, mortar and concrete like butter. Took only about 5 minutes too! Love it!!

This item suck shipped it out to the Caribbean and it couldn't even make one hole. Instead the tip got red hot and only left n impression on the concrete wall

Needed one hole in brick and block, it did that. Not for repeated pro work

I made a mistake by using a hammer drill at first, but switched to a regular drillwhat a difference that made cuts so much better.just drilled dry and pulled out every 5-10 seconds to clear the cement powder.

I was coring a hole through a 7" slab with rebar. The job took about 45 minutes even going through rebar. I would recommend starting the hole and after getting past the cutting head, screw down a plywood template that fits the bit exactly. I also used a Teflon lubricant on the bit going through the template, spraying it often. This will stop most of the vibration and speed up the job. I also drilled smaller holes around the perimeter through the slab to allow the dust to fall through.

Drilled thru brick and block. Just take your time and don't use hammer drill function just rotary only and it will eat.Could use a pilot drill in the middle for guiding. Takes a little bit to get started without pilot drill.

Was very happy with this purchase.Used It with the following SDS chuck adapter:https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01F4IQQUA?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_titleUsed a SDS Bosch drill that has a drill only setting as an option.Used to cut a core for a 4” gas dryer vent. Needed to go through roughly 9-10 inches of cinderblock wall with poured coincrete for reinforcement. There is no center pilot bit, so I drew my circle and then used a masonry bit to go around the outside of the guide so the core bit had a circle to start with and bite into.In total, with two of us switching off for rest, it took a little over an hour with slight pressure being applied. Got a lot of resistance from a piece of 1/4 or 1/2 inch embedded rebar. But we just let the tool do it’s thing and eventually it got thru.I had specifically asked the rebar question and got a few answers (Thanks all!) from previous buyers that although it wasn’t made specifically for that it would handle it; and it did.If you are looking to cut a hole through block wall for a dryer vent; this thing will do the job!
