The headset jack disintegrated in my sons Xbox X remote model 1914. No matter what I tried, I could not get the tiny jack pieces out. I was about to toss it and buy a new controller but decided to try to take the controller apart for better access. I was easily able to access the jack port but still unable to remove the broken jack pieces from inside. When I realized was how easily the whole part was to access and remove, I bought this pack of replacement parts. The new port slid right in, it did not take any special skills but you will need a torx screw bits size T8x2.5 & T6x2.1. You can slide a wedge along the connection lines under the left and right bumper buttons, the entire piece will pop off.2. You can now access screws in each of the corners of the remote, unscrew them with a T8x2.5 torx bit.3. Remove the battery lid and batteries, there is a screw under the sticker, unscrew it. You can feel the dip where the screw sits with your finger and punch a hole through or unpeel the sticker.4. Lift back panel to expose the mother board and unscrew the 2 tiny screws in the left and right corner, you'll need a T6x2 torx bit.5 Gently lift mother board slightly and remove and replace the jack port.6. Put it all back together.Super simple! Dad is going to have to step it up because I am currently my son's hero.

Oh my goodness these are great. Saved 6 Xbox 1 controllers I was about to throw in the trash ! Very easy to install but some advice, use some tweezers to slightly bend and raise the tiny contact arms as they come flattened down and don't always make contact with the correlating pins on the controller body.

Appear to be at least oem quality. Was a direct replacement and dropped right in. Only complaint, it is very tough to get headphones in them. But it could just be the old one was so worn out. Either way, cheaper than buying a new controller.

Not much to say. It worked. And it was cheap!My son's special Cyberpunk controller (cost way more than it should have), took a noise dive into the hardwood floor and the microphone failed. Took it apart and found the microphone (thanks YouTube) and was able to have it swapped out in minutes.Installing the new microphone was extremely easy. The part that stinks about the replacement is the cheap hex screws used in the controller which were already stripped out from their installation, but that is here, nor there regarding this review. Once I managed to get those out, the rest was simple.I only used 1 of the 4 microphones in this pack, so I have no idea if the others are all in working oder, but the job was done with 1 and hoping it will hold up now. Worse case, if the controller bombs again, I have 3 more tries and nothing else to lose.This gets a thumbs up from me and a big smile from my 11 year old Xboxer.

I do like the ease of replacement and product arrived fast. Not sure about the quality though. It only lasted two weeks. It was a 2 pak and I didn't replace it again just yet. Saving it for later.

Worked as described and perfect as a replacement. Note: These will only work as far as I know for an Xbox One S Controller (Maybe an X). Worked well, is still working well and It's been a week and I still dropped the controller a few times. Its hung, and fully disconnected. Either way, even with the dropping. This thing has yet to Fail me again. Great quality! Would reccomend and WILL buy again, 5/5!
