The ad shows this being a length of braided copper wound up as if in a spool, but it came wound up folded back and forth with plastic wrapped to keep it wound up. Because it was wound that way it makes it really difficult to open it back into tube shape without making a mess of the braid. Only by sticking something tubular into it can it be opened back up, but because there are folds in the copper from how it was wrapped it makes it basically impossible to get it back to tubular shape for more than about 5 inches at a time, and after 5 inches, wherever there was a fold, the braid stretches out unevenly leaving huge gaps in the braid that can’t be removed or straightened out without completely unbraiding the whole thing. This was purchased to be shielding for some cords that I was making, and now I can’t complete them using this, since there’s big gaping holes that would be left unshielded. Thanks for putting so much care into the way this was packaged for sending. It’s ruined. If it has been sent wrapped in circles like in the ad pictures, then it would have been fine because there’d be no folds or kinks, but no.

first time i got the 2mm i ordered. second time i got a way thicker size. otherwise does what i need when i have the right size
