It’s nice but removing the soldering paste is very difficult since it gunks up and very difficult to remove especially with alcohol. Gotta force to remove it of a bored

I do a ton of soldering and desoldering working on my vintage electronics projects. I often repair and restore old vintage radios and old ham radios as well. I am very particular at how well my tools work, particularly so with making sure to use quality solder and quality desoldering flux and wick. This is a good kit that is a good value for the money. You get two vials of solder flux and the quality is good. In fact, I’m using this flux exclusively when I need a flux paste for certain old solder joints (used lead in those old days). The flux is easy to clean and easy to use in the syringe accessories that are included. They are just the right size - not too bit to hold and not too small to quickly run out of flux. Good, functional flux and wick that I’m happy to have on hand for my projects. A recommend from me to my fellow vintage electronics restoration folks.

I find it hard to write a review for a product that does exactly what it's supposed to. This is used for very specific things, and it was great at them.Quality seems good and it worked exactly as I wanted when I needed it. I can't ask for more.

This kit is a nice value for quality flux and 10 feet of desoldering wick. I appreciate the paste form of flux over the liquid because it stays where you put it until you put heat on it. The assortment of nozzles are handy too, depending on your needs. This is probably a six month supply for a hobbyist like me doing surface mount. Highly recommended!

I needed some flux and also a new braid, so this set was perfect. It works ok. Its on the cheaper side, but it does work. The flux paste is easy enough to use and was fine to soldier with. This is a good set if you just want something cheap that will get the job done.

This paste works the same as I used in my professional workshop. For newcomers, don't let the name throw you off, it will leave a shiny residue but it's not going to hurt anything unlike the older stuff which you should not be using for surface mount
