This battery is a little too thick and a couple mm too wide to fit inside the Dual Sense battery slot. This puts pressure on the internals and causes the membranes under the buttons to not register when pressed (especially the X button).

I went out on a limb and bought this battery out of frustration. The battery life on Sony Dualsense controllers is abysmal. I’m not a hardcore gamer but I expect to get at least 6-7 hours before recharging.Don’t be fooled by the price or it’s appearance. It’s a fantastic alternative for the stock battery and absolutely smokes it in performance. I venture to say I can get at least 14-16 hours of gameplay before my PS5 tells me my controller is low. This will be going in all of my DualSense controllers. Worth every penny.

Battery was too big for the actual battery holder. I had to remove the battery holder from the controller to make it work out. Once I did that it worked great. Other than that it would have had 5 stars

This is an excellent battery. My PS5 controllers were getting roughly an hour of run time before I got the low battery warning (I got my PS5 on launch day, and it gets used every day).Over time, the batteries were lasting less and less time, until it became obvious that I needed to replace them if I wanted to be able to play with others, or just not have to change controllers so often. With some simple pry tools, I was able to disassemble the PS5 controller. You can search YouTube for a guide on disassembly -- basically, remove the black strip that runs along the bottom of the controller, and pop off the R1 and R2 buttons, then run your pry tool around the edge to release the clips that hold the top and bottom together. Once you've done that, the controller comes apart, and you can unplug the old batter and plug in the new one from this package. Reassemble the controller, and you're set.
