It’s a battery, easy to install if over the age of 5, or under the age of 75. Quality is as expected. I reserve 5 stars for the unexpectedly good, and I predicted the battery would be exactly as it came. And it was. It’s a battery.

Works great. Maybe doesn't hold the same charge as when new, honestly I dunno, I just know I get to play my PSP again and I can use any external battery in case I need more power. This is a must have for Abby PSP owner. Get it!

This battery works perfectly, and actually holds its charge (unlike a lot of other "high-capacity" PSP batteries). After a few weeks of daily play and numerous charge cycles, this thing still works and plays like OEM. The included charge cable, on the other hand, is more of a mixed bag. It doesn't perfectly match OEM fit, and while it technically works with my PSP1000 unit, my other PSP2000 doesn't recognize it at all. Still, the price is easily worth it for the battery alone; think of the cable as a free bonus item, and you won't be disappointed.

Update: seller reached out to me and sent me a replacement battery. It’s not a defect, this model of battery just doesn’t fit into the standard PSP-1000. Maybe I need a different battery cover? Either way, great customer service but wrong product.It barely fits into the battery slot. The cover doesn’t go on towards the top, where the battery contacts are.

Package came in perfect condition, battery was at 50% and powered the console instantly, also came with the charger as described and works well with the charging dock.
