I ordered these to replace stark white globes. It’s hard to see from the picture but it is hundred percent better gives off a nice warm glow, but still enough light to be functional in the bathroom which is where I have it.

The glass color is a warm cream color, nicer than pictured in my opinion. The glass is thick and sturdy, a frosted opaque and provides a very soft glow that creates a comfortable ambiance installed in a floor lamp. Enough light to read but dim enough to fall asleep. Installed in a pendant would provide more light with a downward cast.

I am really happy with this glass shade. It adds warmth to the room.The only issue I had with it is the shade was too narrow for me to use my hand to put the collar on the fixture and bulb in the socket.If you have big hands, you'll have this issue too.One solution would be to find someone with smaller hands.The other was to use kitchen tongs, and after a few tries I got it.

These glass shades look very nice, but you’ll need small hands to get inside them to tighten the metal nut that’s holds them in place. Just a half inch more diameter would have made a huge difference.

Ordered these to replace some existing lamp shades over three pendants in the kitchen. Perfect for what I was trying to do. One thing to note is that you have big hands, you might have a hard time attaching the pendant to the light fixture. The pendants are only 3.5" wide so my wife had to attach the nut to the light fixtures.

I used this as a diffuser in another fixture I had purchased at IKEA and it worked perfectly. By itself the shade is surprisingly thick glass and a universally agreeable beige color. A regular size lightbulb fit inside with room my for large hands to comfortably access it and the opening at the top seems to me like a pretty standard size opening.
