It's a shame they paired these nice tambourines with a weird-sounding skin. They look shiny and energetic, but whatever material is stretched across the frame has such an off sound to it that it takes away from the pretty jangles. The frames and jangles of the tambourines are solid enough that I might consider replacing the skins with another material that at least sounds tonally correct. Until then, I'll probably just cut it off or use them for cool wall-hangings.
