Fits firmly and comfortably on my foot. The way the loops are designed you could have either one or both loops wrap around your shoe, so this will accommodate a wide range of foot/shoe sizes. It sounds nice, not as loud as a larger hand-held tambourine unless you wear it on the side of your shoe so it hits the ground. I bought this two pack so I would have a spare, but have only used one of them for about 15 hours of playing time and it is holding up just fine. Great value, would buy again.

I have been practicing with this tambourine set lately. The sound isn't on par with that of a professional tambourine suited for studio use, but it seems appropriate for live and outdoor performances. It has been reliable so far, although I would avoid wearing sharp-soled footwear for fear that the textile band might wear out.
