If it’s nicely in our decorative trees in the front of the house, I use beautiful ceramic planters that I fill up with rocks to hold the trees and I put this on a top to make a real and it’s absolutely spectacular look strongly recommended super easy to put on a top and cover whatever you have under it. It looks perfect and very original great value for the money.

Nice heavy rubber tree rings. I like these because they protect the base of my tree from weedwhackers. They look nice and make things look kempt. I would recommend.

Works ok outdoors for in-ground plants, but probably better suited for pots given the diameter of the ring. Nice, densely packed shredded rubber ring. Dual color for verstility; Green on one side, black on the other. Plenty of room in the center opening to accommodate larger trunk sizes.

I am using these for our newly planted fruit trees to keep the weeds back from the base so I don’t have to mulch right up to the trunk which could invite destructive insects and pests. They work great and I did not need to expand the holes since my trees are small. It also helps keep the soil from drying out so much there, which is vital in my semitropical climate. I still use these along with mulch. I am not so much worried about chemical leaching as these will be removed before the trees are old enough to bear fruit.

I guess I should have read the info better because these rings are very small. They're only 12-inches. I thought they were for a tree. No biggie since they will do well for plants, too. They are slightly thinner than the tree-sized rings, but, again, fine for plants. You can also use them for saplings.

My husband got those tree rings for me and they are perfect! have young potted trees and these rings fit around them perfectly. They will keep squirrels from digging into my pots! The only downside is that I like to add small plants around my potted trees and these rings will prevent that. The product is thick and will protect the trees from rodents as well as prevent weeds and grass from growing at the base of the trees. Warning: MEASURE BEFORE BUYING! I am satisfied with these rings!

I appreciate that these create a defined area for my baby trees, protecting them from the mower, but I'm not fond of their appearance. Once the ground thaws, I plan to dig around them to help them settle in better. I'm also concerned about their survival during the summer heat.
