This worked perfectly to install a second NVMe SSD in my Dell Inspiron 5505 which did not have the necessary bracket. It comes with the bracket and the necessary screws (bracket to motherboard, and SSD to bracket) that you need for the installation, so you should not need to buy any extra parts. Much less hassle than having to contact Dell support to get the parts, which took forever and required a lot of information just to get a quote.

To install an SSD 2280 card in the second slot you need this bracket. It's tiny but it works perfectly on my dell inspiron model 5502.

Was a perfect fit for my dell inspiron 5502, was a bit difficult to install the smallest screw but once done was all good and aligned. A bit expensive but worth it for the storage upgrade opportunities.

I wanted to add an extra M.2 SSD to my laptop (Dell Inspiron 14 5402) as it didn’t come with a bracket. Stupid really, but you know, saving on manufacturing costs.Either way, this part is amazing. We fitted it within seconds, and then fitted the SSD. It works perfectly, with good spacing so it didn’t feel like we were pushing the limits.The part was said to arrive within 2 weeks, it arrived in 1, but Amazon still says it’s running late a month later. That’s fine though, it’s here and that’s all that matters.Check the specs list to see if it fits your laptop, and if it does, then you’re all set. It’s practically plug and play, and so easy.These things are otherwise impossible to source. EBay turned up negative, as did 99% of the internet. This is the only one I could find for sale. Thank you, seller.

My son's Dell Inspiron 5501 was missing the mounting bracket for the 2nd SSD slot (like apparently many are). This part came with a screw to attached the bracket to the computer and a screw to attach the SSD to the bracket. I installed an M.2 2280 in the 2nd slot using this and it fit perfectly.
