The brackets are amazingly heavy duty and very sturdy. However, the mollies they give you with it did not hold even for five minutes. Use the better drywall mollies when installing.

I was getting very concerned that my closet rod was going to snap and everything would fall to the floor. I saw these and ordered them. They came the next day and my husband was even able to install one in the middle of the rod without pulling out all the clothes. It’s working great and holding fast. The rod is no longer bowing.
