Installation Steps
Step 1
Determine the height you want to install and mark it.
Step 2
Drill holes in advance with an electric drill, and 1/8" pre-drill holes are recommended.
Step 3
Install the screws, tools can be electric or manual. If you use a hand electric drill, please adjust it to a low gear and the torque should be below 20.
Step 4
Put in the 2x4 lumber and do the final confirmation.

These brackets made me feel so much safer after my garage was broken into. It’s a great idea as you can still use your door after lifting up the wood piece you choose to sit in the bracket. They were also very easy to install and I appreciated the extra long screws. I would recommend to ensure you’re drilling into the largest sturdiest piece of the door frame for added peace of mind. Nobody is getting through your door with this on!

Purchased these after we had a "push-in" break in at our little league snack bar. We added these brackets and a 2x4 as a secondary security measure. It has not been tested by a thief. However, we did test it a few times with various methods, and it seems to due the trick.

I installed these on my outside garage door. Very easy to install and very strong. I used some longer stronger wood screws for more strength but it works great. Ain't getting through my door except with a tank. Great piece of mind to know when I'm not home or on vacation that no one is getting through that door. You can use a wood or metal 2x3 or 2x4 about 4ft long to sit in the brackets. Very affective.

I used these to support an auger attachment for my Kubota in a way that allows me to back up, lift the auger up and slide the 2x4 into these door barricade brackets, which the auger will then balance on, allowing me to easily disconnect the auger. The straps are for security in case I bump into it. Makes using this attachment a breeze when your by yourself. I did use much longer and larger screws for strength.Works awesome, got the idea from a video online. Looks a bit scary but it’s plenty strong and reasonably stable.
