This coil worked pretty well for getting new halyards in a 50ft sailboat mast laying horizontally. The horizontal mast has too much friction for most other wires - this one I had to push and pull a few times, but it made it through. The cable is pretty flexible and doesn't hit you when you uncoil it. Only giving three stars, as the gold finish has already started rusting after limited use and exposure. It should probably be wiped with an oily rag after each use.

Yeah, what? When you open the bag, the cable is wrapped with plastic and inside that plastic is—surprise!—some kind of lubricant. A bit messy, but I get it. They want the cable to not be rusted or anything when it arrives. Could use a notice of the oil on the package somewhere, tho. Otherwise, works well.

This is a great product. The tape is easy to pull out of the case and easy to wind back into the case. Didn't even need to use the orange squeeze grabber. I am deducting one star because there was no wire pulling accessories included, as shown in one of the pictures and mentioned by another reviewer.

it has some oil residue from the cable twisting; manufacturing, needs wiped own well before use, very springy, and rigid, like a fishing cable should be, gotta about 12 FT run behind TV to lower outlet; no prob!, working out great; this is a great item, also comes with 2 cable tenders / err cable gatherers to attach to leader eyelets; fast shipping; very pleased
