At first I was annoyed at just how short these individual rods are; my other set's individual pieces are twice as long. However, I've just completed a full audio/network/OTA upgrade on the upper floor of my house using this and the other set, and it was very convenient to have both. They do screw together interchangeably, and the extra pieces you get seemed to be the same in both sets. (I Know this is vague, but both sets are generic/badge swaps).I would take a long set first in most cases, but both is optimal.

If you like to work on electrical projects for your home or vehicle, this is a really handy kit for those wire routing challenges. The screw together sections provide lots of flexibility to assemble the right size puller for the job. The various hook and loop ends provide additional versatility. The fiberglass rods provide good flexibility to bend around gentle curves, but are not suitable for really tight turns I just completed a project pulling wire through a double hull boat to install a fish finder, trolling motor, batteries etc. and this wire puller definitely made the job easier. This kit is a great addition to the DIY'ers tool collection.

I recently used the Fish Tape Wire Puller while running electrical cables and it worked great! The fiberglass material is sturdy but flexible, making it easy to navigate through tight spaces and bends. different attachments were really helpful for different types of cables. I especially liked the hook attachment ,it made pulling wires much easier. The tool feels well made and didn’t bend or break even when I had to pull heavier cables. It saved me a lot of time and effort compared to other tools I’ve used before. Overall, this is a handy and reliable tool for electrical work.

This fish tape is fairly thin (good thing!) and not particularly easily bendable. What I like less about it are the brass connectors. Specifically, they have a much larger diameter (seems like double or even more!) than the actual fiberglass rod, so they overhang the fiberglass rod by quite a bit and are just prime spots to get stuck in tight spaces. Because this fish tape comes in sections which are kept straight in the case rather than one big roll, the resulting fish tape also wants to stay straight, which makes it a good candidate for straight longer jobs, especially if there are not a lot of obstructions or other wires in the way. Another benefit of it being in sections is that you can assemble it as you go and not have 20+ft of tape looping around you and knocking down things as you're working.I recently used it to put a wire through 3/4" hole about 6 ft away. There's no way I would've been able to do this with my loopy but much thicker and sturdier fish tape.I'm also a big fan of attachments this tape comes with (the wire fastener, the hook, the pusher, etc) as well as the form factor of small storage tube.Honestly, this would've been a solid 5 star review had the brass connectors were the same diameter as the fiberglass rods so as to not snag on things.

Nice set to have when your doing some wiring in old walls. They included enough pieces for me to reach from my basement to the second floor. They include different heads to attach wires for different things. Comes in a nice plastic case to keep everything together. The rods are easy to connect to one another. There is some flexibility in the rods but not alot. Would of been really nice if they included a drill bit attachment to get through any blocks. Nice kit for any handyman to have.

The MeilsurY fish sticks aren't the same quality as a Klein or other professional brand, but they costs much less than the pro brands. Low cost aside, the kit works fine and will do the job for DIYers or even people in the trades who only need to fish wire occasionally. It also comes with a pretty good selection of attachments. If you're looking for a set of fish sticks that won't break the bank, these are worth your consideration.

This fish tape/wire puller is alright for small, low duty applications, but not for pulling larger wires or anything that requires a lot of force. I have had the screw connections break twice and the main hook come off once. I have had to repair it so it kind of still works, but I would just get a different one next time.
