Just what we expected and a decent price. This helped a lot to get wires fed through the wall when we hung our television. We now have no wire showing in this made it so easy.

Got this one to run a couple of Ethernet cables and worked like a champ. Easy to use, well priced. Can’t complain. Cannot attest to its durability yet; I used it for a single project but to me, it did the job so it was worth it.

I have a couple different sets of fish rods. This set is by far the thinnest and shortest. You can easily screw each section into each other and the kit includes a number of attachments to help grab wires or connect a wire to pull. The threaded ends are a little fragile if you over flex these. Since they are so thin, they can be flexed quite a bit but you still need to be careful bending them. The threaded ends need to be fairly tight to keep them from un-threading as you use them. There is a short "glow" section although I've never found that useful. I'm not usually fishing wiring in complete darkness. The one advantage a set like this has with it's multiple short lengths is you can customize the overall length if you are working in a tight space. As you pull the rod out of a wall for example you could be un-threading sections if needed. This also stores in a service truck easily since it is so compact when un-threaded. Overall it's a good addition to your tool arsenal if you fish wiring. I used it on a low voltage job and it worked perfectly.

First of all I really like using these. I have used them on one project to pull a few lines and tuck away my garage door opener wires and also add a new outlet and a switch for some exterior lights.I have used my neighbors set for fishing wires before and compared to that set there are some positives and negatives.Positives:- Small in size and fairly flexible for tight corners- Can reach a very long distance with all the rods- comes with hooks and loops to make pulling of the cable before (I have had to use tape on the other set to pull wires)Negatives:- Too brittle on the brass connectors, already broke in 2 spots rendering 4 of the bars basically useless- too many individual sections, it felt like it took forever to put them together to make an 8ft section to run some wires- the storage container is decent but the rods don't sit flush sometimes making it hard to get them all to fit at the bottom to install the capOverall a good idea but needs improvement. The threads are too fine and takes forever to twist everything together (I also get that this is for security so you aren't losing your pieces inside of wall) and maybe making the individual rods longer.

This is a replacement of a lower quality products that been a necessity for my home wiring projects. As a DIY enthusiast, I'm always tackling projects around the house, and this type of kit has made running wires through walls and ceilings so much easier. What I love about this kit:Flexibility: The fiberglass rods are flexible, but stiff enough to find the hole you drilled at the other end.Durability: The rods feel sturdy and well-made. I'm not afraid of them snapping or breaking during use. The ends are secure unlike my last set that pulled off the rods.Length: 22 feet is plenty of length for most home wiring projects.Attachments: The kit comes with a variety of useful attachments, including a hook, a pull ring, and a magnetic attachment. These make it easy to grab and pull wires through walls.Storage Case: Everything comes neatly packaged in a convenient carrying case, making it easy to store and transport the kit. What could be Improved:Include instructions: No instructions are included, so you'll have to do your research on how to properly use the attachments.Overall:This YIYITOOLS Fiberglass Wire Running Kit is a fantastic tool for anyone who needs to run wires through walls or ceilings. It's flexible, durable, and comes with a variety of helpful attachments. I highly recommend it for DIYers and homeowners tackling their own wiring projects.

A friend of mine turned me on to fishing rods, when he let me borrow his set of name-brand rods to run some HVAC wires from my basement to my first floor. Where these rods come in handy as compared to fish tape/wire is in their rigidity. If you're looking to go straight up a wall with no bends, these are so much easier to work with than fish tape. When compared to the name-brand rods I used previously, the biggest difference here is that this set consists of rather small sections- advertised as 1.4 ft each, and that looks about right. The other set I previously used, each section was probably about 3 feet long. The trade off here is that this Yiyitools set is definitely more portable and suited for smaller vertical openings, but a set with longer rods would by its nature be more durable at longer lengths. Bottom line- I would never attempt to run this set at its full 22 ft length without supporting it almost the whole way. But if you're just trying to get a wire up one floor in a house, you probably will only ever need less than half the 22 ft length. And this set can handle one floor without issues. If you're trying to go up more than one floor, maybe look for something with longer sections and a higher price.5 stars: Fully met all of my expectations, and provides a great value. Highly recommended.4 stars: Mostly met my expectations, with one or two reservations. Recommended.3 stars: There are some issues holding this product back. Somewhat recommended, but with reservations.2 stars: Did not meet my expectations. Not recommended.1 star: Overall disappointment. Not at all recommended.
