This MEWTOGO Raised Cat Bowls Stand with Silicone Food Mat is a major improvement compared to the diner stand we were using for our Maine Coon cat, Max. Assembly was extremely easy. However, I found that I had to be careful when tightening the screws for placing the legs on the wooden (bamboo?) top. The encasement for the screws is plastic and if the screws are tightened too much, then they strip the encasement. The wooden top that holds the stainless steel bowls, I believe, is made of bamboo, although I was not able to find anything in the literature provided with the set or on the website listing that indicated the material of this wooden top. If it is indeed bamboo, then I know it's material that can get wet without causing it harm and I am happy about that. The wooden top is not as smooth as I would like and there are a couple of tiny dents in the top, plus the ring cut-outs are a bit rough on the edges, too. The height is perfect for Max and I like the nice wide size of the stainless steel bowls. Because the bowls are at a 15 degree angle, it does cause the food and water to settle near the front part of the bowls (see #4 photo). This is not a problem for the food. But, it is a problem for the water. Not much water can be placed in the bowl before it would start overflowing near the front of the bowl (see #5 photo where I placed my thumb where the water level is the highest it can go before overflowing the front of bowl). For this reason, we have opted to use a separate bowl to hold Max's water, so he has plenty of water available to him. I would recommend this raise stand as a food diner only with the plan to use a separate water bowl.

I recently switched to these elevated cat bowls, and I can already see a difference in how my cat eats. The 15° tilt is a great feature, it makes eating more comfortable and helps reduce strain on my cat’s neck. She seems to prefer this setup over her old flat bowls, and I’ve noticed less regurgitation after meals, which is a huge plus. The functionality really works well in reducing my cat vomiting, I have notice a large difference since using these elevated cat bowls.Assembly was really easy, and intuitive, but there is also a instruction book that accompanies it.The stand is sturdy and well-designed, keeping the bowls in place without sliding around. The weight of the overall assembly is not heavy, and the weight is too light. I love that it comes with three stainless steel dishes, making it easy to rotate them for cleaning. The bowls are deep enough to hold a good amount of food and water but not so deep that they cause whisker fatigue. The included silicone mat is another great touch,it catches spills and keeps everything neat, making cleanup much easier.Overall, this is a well-thought-out feeding station that’s both practical and stylish. It’s made mealtime more comfortable for my cat and keeps my floors cleaner. If you have a cat or small pet that struggles with regular bowls, this is definitely a good choice.

Easy assembly, and I love that they thought to include a mat for underneath the bowls. Even with this extra height, cats will be messy. I got this for a very senior cat I have who has arthritis in his spine. I've noticed that he gives up on eating from bowls on the ground after initially eating a few mouthfuls. A bit later, when I bring the bowl of unfinished food to his bed and hold it up to his chin, he eagerly eats again. I have high hopes that this will make life easier for my Merlin. I also like the three bowls ... wet, dry, and water ... and having stainless steel bowls rather than plastic.

Not using product due to supposedly being food safe, however, after these were used two days and washed twice, I noticed my hand had black residue all over it almost looked like pencil lead. Not sure if it’s a deoxidation or what but I’m not letting my cat use these. It was my fault because I threw the box away, otherwise they would have been returned. I did message on Amazon as well and never had a response

I bought these because my cat was having problems with spitting up. Since getting these she’s doing a lot better with that! And they are whisker friendly! Highly recommend!
