What I say:This is easy to assemble. I was glad to note that.The bowls are stainless steel, so it is safe to wash them in the dishwasher; however, the sense of smell of an animal is 15X better than a human's. Therefore, I would recommend hand washing the bowls with an unscented liquid dish soap.The bowls are elevated, rather than on the floor. This helps keep the animal's neck level instead of being tilted downward as he eats. For the animal, this means better digestion and less vomiting. For you, it means less clean up.The base is flat and solid. The pet will not tip the bowls or the contents until they hit the bowls from something like a run and slide and hit.Well made. I rinsed off the item and assembled it. It is very easy to assemble and stays together well during use. Also it is very cute.We put some cat food and water in it and waited for the cat to try it. Our cat only eats wet food, due to a medical issue, I wonder if this cat food stand would work best with dry food, but we used wet food in it. He did eat out of it a couple times, but then he decided that he didn’t like the bowls for some reason. If you have a fussy, picky and unusual cat, they might find some kind of problem with this product even though there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong.Cats can be like that though. If your cat accepts the food dishes and stand, then you should have no issues. It definitely helps with the cat not needing to bend down to eat which is better for their spine.We thought maybe our cat didn’t like the elevation, so we took the bowls out and placed them on the floor, but that isn’t the problem at all. Because we also tried to replace he silver bowls with other bowls by placing alternate bowls on top of the stand itself, and then he was just fine eating from the stand with new bowls on it.We also attempted to rewatch the wooden part just in case he was turned off by the natural scent of the bamboo, but that isn’t the problem either. I think my cat is just fussy about the shiny metallic bowls. Some days he will eat from them, and other days we have to place a different bowl or small plate into the stand instead. This is definitely a quirk of our cat himself, he is bowl and plate fussy, and not a flaw with the product at all.The fact that it is slightly tilted toward him while he eats, regardless of which bowl we use, helps a lot in preventing a mess. The food is always all over the floor after he eats, if he is eating wet food from a bowl right on the floor. The frontward tilt is a good idea, and I believe that if you have a cat who likes the provided metal bowls, they will eat from this item just fine.He ate from the stand yesterday and I took photos. I accidentally inserted the panda face the wrong way, but that’s ok it can go on there either way just fine. Sometimes he is leery of the matt that goes under the bowl stand, and other days he doesn’t mind the matt being there. That’s just how some cats are. The matt is very cute and would keep you from having to mop for sure.I think it is extremely cute and makes the area you feed your cat better looking.He really liked the box it came in! I think if the cat were reviewing this item instead of me, he would definitely want me to include a review of the box, and since this item was of course for the cats use, I will honor his wishes. The box is adorable. He enjoyed chewing on the box and pushing it around the living room for days!

Absolutely love this pet dish! I almost overlooked this dish as the description calls it a CAT DISH which made me consider that maybe the dishes would be too small. However, the dishes are a typical size for my 17 pound Bichon. The height is ideal also. He has never used an elevated dish and I thought it was time that I brought this dog mom into the 21st century! While looking through elevated dishes I noticed that this dish features a unique 15 degree tilt. Turns out this is a useful feature. My dog looks so much more comfortable eating from his new dish. The stand is very cute with darkened little ears on the top and comes with a printed floor mat which adds extra value. I highly recommend this for any smaller sized cat OR dog.

My vet suggested I raise the food bowls for my cat because of some health issues he’s having, so I ordered this set which comes with a stand, 2 bowls and a mat. I was really pleased with the quality when it arrived. The stand itself looks to be well made. It’s sturdy and made of bamboo which seems to be a smart choice. The stainless steel bowls are substantial, not light and flimsy, and are large enough to hold a good amount of dry food and more than big enough to hold a large can of cat food. The best part is that the stand is the perfect height for my kitty. It literally holds the bowls at face level so he can eat without lowering his head.The set also includes a cute floor mat to help keep the area clean and dry. It’s so much nicer to have this little “feeding station” for my cat! I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner. It’s adorable looking and should prove to be more comfortable for my cat.
