The sump pump arrived in an oil stained box, the interior of the box, the bag and the entire unit are covered in lubricant oil. Unable to determine where the leak is, if this is a protectant of some kind or due to shipping label on the box is upside down and was transported that way! Tried calling manufacturer Bomgie , phone goes unanswered. 1star because I have to rate due to lack of manufacturer customer service. I don’t know how the pump would work. Have to return:(

I have a basement that constantly has water leaking into it. So I dug a pit and tied into the drain tile and put this sump pump in my bin. I really like how the pump does not suck from the very bottom like others do, as others can get a stick or something caught in them. This one has it elevated slightly, with a cage to protect it from sticks and such.The pump has been working great for me, and comes with two types of adapters for whatever size pipe you wish to connect to it.I did make a small change on my float, as I shortened it up a little bit so the water would not get so high in my sump area before the pump kicked on. Doing so was very simple and only required loosening the Philips screw that holds the sensor float.

Used it to empty 4000 gallon above ground pool. It has enough pressure for run a sprinkler with 50 feet 5/8 inch garden hose.
