These fit my angle grinder well and did a great job of removing both paint and rust from an old metal pedal car. We’re remaking it for my grandson and this has made the job so much easier. Perform as I hoped and I’ll be buying more in the future.

These work very well for removing material. I feel like they are exactly what I expected compared to others I have used. They don't last noticeably longer or shorter. Fit my Makita perfectly. Good value for the money

I’m working on restoring a vintage VW camper and unfortunately have a good amount of rust and other areas on metal that need stripping. These stripping wheels are really solidly constructed and well manufactured. You can tell from the way the arbor is made to the way the stripping material is applied that these are quality products. The angle grinder paint stripping wheel material is made of silicon carbide #46. The stripping materials include four different types of wheels (4 Blue, 4 Purple, 2 Green, and 2 Black Discs ) ranging in different abrasiveness. These wheels fit 4.5” angle grinders, not drills. Very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend for removing rust or other nasties from metal during any auto restoration process, etc.

These are very well made silicon carbide discs that I'm using to strip the paint off metals. They work fantastically and there's little vibratoion during operation. The arbor size is 4.5"dia, and the fit is perfect on my angle grinder. The different colors should help breakup the monotony of grinding large areas. It's a small feature, but hey, why not. The discs are fantastic and I highly recommend them.

Likes:• Balanced - smooth running• Durable - Just letting the disk do it work with only the weight of the tool show min wear to the disk• 12-pack sizeUsed to remove a PEI coating on a spring steel and tested on some angle iron mill scale - Letting the tool do the work not putting a excessive pressure on the tool - the disk prove to be very very durable - catch one on the edge and yet it will pull a chunk out - just like any other stripping wheel. All in all pleased with the performance and value.

The stripping wheels fit my angle grinder perfectly and they helped me remove old paint from porch. They work well, but wear out quicker than I anticipated. I am glad they came in a 12 pack, because I ended up needing to use most of them.

I use strip discs all the time. It is so much more efficient than than discs with wire brushes or sanding disc. Nothing strips paint or rust quicker from metal, at least that I am aware of. There is a color coding mechanism, but good luck finding it documented anywhere. To the best of my knowledge, from most coarse and aggressive to least is purple, blue, green and then black. However, I noticed little difference between them and so I don't think it's like sandpaper grits where it's better defined, just general guidance. They work well, but wear quickly. So you'll want to have some on hand for spares. I'd say that in general, a disc will last for 2-3 medium sized projects on average. And while you can use them at an angle, that causes pretty significant wear at an angle, so I'd use them flat as much as possible. Love these things, and consider them as invaluable as sandpaper and wire brushes. If you haven't used them, give them a shot, I think you'll be pretty impressed as I was.
