These disc are excellent for removing mill scale completely. One pass and all mill scale is removed and resulting in clean bright metal! Good Value

These work great on metal to remove mill scale, and rust!! I'm a welder, and I use theses every day to prep projects at work! They don't last too long, but they are cheap, and save your more expensive grinding wheels! I highly recommend them...!!!

I bought these on a whim, on a recommendation from a youtube video, and I was not disappointed. This disc makes very quick work of millscale on carbon steel, without loading up the way a flap disc will, and does a pretty decent job as a general grinding wheel as well. One word of caution, as mentioned in other reviews, is that you need to have a very light touch when removing mill scale, as it is a very aggressive grain, which will take off more material if you're not careful. Overall, a great product, and highly recommended.

The listed photo almost resembles a flap disc but it's much more rigid than that so you don't get a lot of coverage on each pass. The good news is that it does blast through the mill scale without gumming up. But when they say aggressive, they mean it and it takes a decent amount of metal beyond the mill scale, leaving very noticeable grinding marks which may not be desirable depending on how you plan to finish it.

Great for removing mill scale before welding If you use for grinding welds down it works fast but uses up the disks quickly and will grab on the edges so I use for mill scale only.

These are the best grinding disks I’ve found to remove paint and glue off a concrete floor. Does not get hot and gum up like diamonds. Tears through the coating without gouging the concrete.

This made short work on thick plate mill scale with plenty of life left in the first disc. It never glazed over! 36 grit leaves fairy deep scratches, so consider a higher grit if you care about the finish. I'm still amazed at how well it works.
