I bought this bit because it was one third the cost of a brand name bit. Used it on 6 holes so far and it worked great and still looks like new (except for the paint). Last hole was 11.5 inches of re-enforced concrete. Several of the holes where at an angle and it took a lot of abuse too.

70 year old concrete with wire mesh and rebar no problem. Just be sure your equipment is good enough LOL.

On initial inspection there was almost no feeling of abrasive, and two of the three working flutes were chipped. Thinking that it might work never-the-less, it was put into service. It didn't abrade ordinary cosmetic house bricks, even with a centering template and a sufficient water wash. Further inspection shows that it was likely repainted as there were drips, and the finish differed from the portion that was factory painted. Although this was selected based upon its unusually high rating, it seems to be the same garbage selling at a lower price that admits to being from China.
