I needed an adapter from my core drill to a 8 inch wet bit. This fit the requirements including having a hole through the center to allow water to pass through.I used it for drilling 4 holes 8 inches in diameter through 8 inch deep 70 year old concrete walls with all sorts of aggregate in it e.g. what appear to be different sizes of quartz river rock. Due to the age / hardness of the material I was concerned with the adapter snapping or deforming. I took my time, about 20 minutes per core, and it worked great with no issues.

We needed an adapter for a cheap core drill we got and this fit perfectly. The job went off without a hitch and this has many more jobs left in it!

First, I ordered the wrong part. Totally my fault. The description clearly says 1 1/4"-7 "female" adapter. I need it's male counterpart for one of my 2.5" diamond core bits. Nobody to blame but myself for this mistake.While this adapter is well made and you could probably drive a truck over it without damaging it, it has a big problem. There are NO MARKINGS on it to indicate what size it is. If you didn't already know what size it was - you would never know. I see this as a MAJOR goof on the manufacturers part. I will be etching the size on the side of it.If this was something I needed this would be a heck of a bargain but I don't need it now, I might in the future. Still a bargain though. I am deducting a star simply because there is no way to tell what size it is.
