The aluminum is machined really well on these channels, having smooth and clean surfaces to work with. It comes with all the hardware you need to attach them but the clips can be a bit better. There's also no good way to align the ends to adjoining channels. If the clips were bigger, they could span the two channels and connect them together. A third set of hardware for supporting the center of the channel would've been nice. The channel itself is lightweight enough for the 2 clips, but that doesn't leave much room for failure if the screws rot out on whatever you're attaching them to.The diffuser works well for reasonably spaced LED's and looks nice. The diffuser is challenging to snap into the channel though but it's a good solid fit that doesn't let the diffuser slide around in the channel.

These are some really nice diffusers I love that they're angled, perfect for those of us who still like the LED strip around the ceiling!

The main things to look out for with LED Strip diffusers are how they are installed and the level of diffusion. For the latter, you also have to be realistic and take responsibility for how many LEDs per meter the strip you are using contains. No diffuser is capable of making a uniform light surface out of your cheap LED strip with diodes spaced apart like holes on a belt! These channels mounted easy, the diffusion strips slotted in easily, and the diffusion looked great with some FCOB LED strips, without blocking excessive amounts of light. I used these for under cabinet lighting in my kitchen aimed towards the wall and they fit underneath the cabinets into the ledge perfectly. Great product!

I have LED strips in a few different areas of the house but have a problem with the way the lights project from the flat channels. Since these are triangular/V-shaped, I figured they would be able to cover a wider spectrum.I tested the projection in one of the closets using regular 10mm LED light strips. Where I had the rectangular channels, they were installed on the ceiling and the light would cover a small portion of the clothing on hangers below. I mounted these near the same area, installed on the wall (instead of the ceiling, but that wouldn’t matter). Since installing, the triangular mount does seem to make a difference in being able to project more up, down, and forward instead of just forward. Now I have visibility on the top shelves, as well as ok coverage on the clothes on hangers.Diffusion is as expected. It’s hard to say how well it covers the “dots” since I’ve only tried the closet so far. When I install in a room that the strip is visible and if you can see the dots, the review will be updated with that info and stars (if applicable). Getting the diffusing strip on is a pain at times, but I’ve found over the years, that is typical.I received 21 mounting clips, so 2 for each channel + 1 extra. Other kits have included 3 per channel, but not a huge issue since I ordered the 3’ length. If I lose more than one clip, I may be screwed. No anchors are included, at least not with the kit I got, so if you want to secure the channels, you’ll need your own, which I used.
