Work as well as all the other generic brands. I just love that these strip discs have been able to come down in price through these Amazon vendors. I remember when you bought them individually at a brick and mortar store for a premium. Next to abrasive blasting, these are the most effective method of coating removal and metal conditioning I know of.

Quite like these stripping discs. They have a good surface, equivalent to what you'd get with the name brands. The big drawback for me is that the discs require a mandrel or some other mount to work with a regular drill, but it might fit perfectly for your tool.

Very rugged. Lasts a long time compared to others I’ve used. Mainly stripping paint off a car without grinding into the metal. Amazed how long they last. But them !!

I prefer this type of pad for stripping paint or rust from metal. This pad blows right through it pretty well. If the metal is deeply pitted this still works but you may need a wire brush as well. I used the wheel for a short while to strip a panel I was welding and it seemed to hold together well and do a great job. I'm comparing this to a Forney wheel and I don't really notice. Adifference In performance and the price on this product is a great value.Easy to use and works fast id recommend!

I grew up on a farm. It was a working farm and I was grateful to have both grandparents grow me up there as well as my parents. On that farm there was an old John Deer tractor that had a one bottom plow. The tractor is long gone, but I recently acquired that old plow I used as a 12 year old plowing the garden area where we fed ourselves all summer. After sitting in the weather for 50 years, it was a bucket of rust. How do you tackle something that big and rusty? I've used these kinds of abrasives before on metal, but only on the end of a drill. These are designed for an angle grinder, which is much more powerful and higher speed. When used that way, these are GREAT at removing layers of built up rust. I plan to attack that rusty plow with these in the spring. I tried one out here in the shop to see how they worked, and there was no difference between these and the much more expensive ones at the big box I already had. Why pay more? These kinds of abrasives DO wear down. Especially doing something like I just described where you're running into layers of built up rust that have to be ground away to get to solid metal. In fact I will probably start with just a wire wheel to take off the majority of outer layers of rust. Then switch to these for cleaning it up. For the low price per wheel, they are a real bargain and they work great, so I'm giving these five stars.
