My daughter needed a new shifter as the one she had on her college bike had issues. Bought this one and worked flawlessly. Smooth shifting and comes with internal cable for easy installation.

I ordered 2 other similar products that were 4 or 5 dollars cheaper. both broke right away. This one is made MUCH better than the others and is working great!

My only beef with this is that if you flip the bike to do any tire work, be sure to put a cloth under this shifter as the clear acrylic will most definitely scratch when it presses up against the concrete.

This was a replacement for my original right handle shifter on my bike that is only 2 years old. One day I went to get my bike out of the garage & I found it broke. I just searched online to get the right replacement & this Shimano shifter came up that said it was compatible. I ordered it 2 days ago & it came today. I immediately wanted to replace it. I watched a Youtube video as I had never replaced a shifter on a bike before. In about 20 minutes, I had the old one off & the new one on. It was way feeding the new cable on the bike. I took it for a test ride & IT ACTUALLY SHIFTS BETTER THAN MY ORIGINAL... so I AM HAPPY! If you need a Shimaon type shifter, get this one. It was very inexpensive & I have my bike up & running again just in time for Springtime in Florida!
