When you replace the float switch on a Zoeller sump pump, it is imperative to replace the gasket. If the switch kit doesn't include the gasket, here it is.

Nothing on these rebuild kits has changed in what....30 years? But the price for it has quadrupled. Buy stock in the Zoeller I guess.

Nice part, and necessary since I needed to remove the switch housing from the pump body, as the old gasket was not reusable. Before I installed it, I cleaned up the mating surfaces between the pump body and the switch housing. While I was there I replaced the screws.As many have said, you might not need this if you buy a switch replacement kit. But since I didn’t need to replace the actual switch, this solved my issues.

Was about the replace my pump but found that I could just spend a few bucks to replace this cover and make the pump work again. Amazing and saved me a fortune. The replacing process is super easy too!
