I installed the unit just like 50 other times and this thing leaked big time between the body and the rubber. I tried to tighten it and didn't fix the problem.Had to pull it apart and when I did you could see the problem. The glue was in three dots and the rubber was hitting a tab that sticks out the bottom.I glued it properly and now it works. Seems like they have some quality control uses.The worst part is testing makes a mess each time. Thought I'd pay more for a better product and that failed.Revising to 1 star because it continues to leak. I'm going to have to replace a new check valve with one that works.This gets my hot garbage review.

I bought this to stop my sump pump from being to noisy. Easy to install unless you are me and installed backwards the first time lol since I now installed it correctly it has been working great. Doesn’t get rid of the noise completely but is definitely alot quieter.

Product arrived ahead of delivery date estimate. Easy to install. Sump pump that had an extremely loud hammer each time it ran is now very quiet. Excellent product.

The last check valve that I purchased made a loud, annoying clicking sound after every cycle of the sump pump. When I replaced it with this one, I noticed that the valve flapper was made out of hard plastic. This one is very quiet and sturdy.

This is definitely worth the money. It’s not expensive but it’s more than what you would pay for in the store. Every time our sump pump turned on, It would make this rattling sound throughout the house. Once we installed this new valve, you didn’t hear it once. I highly recommend, because it delivers what it says, extremely quiet

Received next business day with Purolator, installed on weekend very easy to install and its very quiet little bit expensive but it's worth it spending little more for your comfort was suffering for seven years with hammer noise of my sump pump I wish I had bought earlier and installed I can only hear machine noise but no more hammer noise, let's see how long it will last no idea what is the warranty on it.

This item is exactly as advertised. Delivery was very prompt.Installation is a snap, as long as you know what you are doing with plumbing. Fit perfectly to our 1 1/2 in ABS. As the connection to the pipes are rubber, should also work perfectly on PVC.We have had a very loud 'water hammer' noise from our sump pump since we moved in. Now the only noise is from the pumping of the water. There is no noise at all when the pump shuts off.Highly recommended if you have a loud clunk when your sump pump turns off.
