These protective pads is so comfortable, protect from falling, and fits perfectly. I use this for ice skating lessons and it works great.

Looks great for the price, but the pads don’t go down to cover the butt. Good for hip protection but not the falls on your butt

The pads are nice Put on like normal shorts, or use the zippers. you can move in them. Wouldn't wear if you think you will fall a lot. More of just a cautionary addition.

Man, I cant wait to use these on my next season boarding trip. I fell on my behind a few more times did I would like to admit this past season therefore, I swallowed my pride and invested in this. Better to be ready for next season than have to deal another soar behind again, lol. These are very well padded, extremely light weight, and comfortable to wear.

The concept is great with the zipper sides for the ease of taking it on/off. However, that’s where the positives end. As you can see from the picture, these shorts are cut too small and there’s no padding on the area where you would need it the most, at the tailbone. Pass on these!

My daughter is a figure skater, working on her double jumps. Sometimes, she forgets to put on her crash pad before putting on her skates, so the idea of being able to put this without removing her skates is good in theory, but in practice, it's hard to zip these up one leg at a time. She has friends who have injured their tail bone, and as another reviewer mentioned, this pad can ride up and the the protection does not seem to extend low enough for adequate protection. My daughter won't be wearing these as even she is concerned about it's thinner pads. I would recommend this pad only for low level skaters who are working on single jumps and timid about falling. I do like that the shorts have openings so that you can replace the pads when they have worn thin from falls.

Got these for my 8 y/o for going to the skating rink. They are fairly comfortable although wearing them under regular pants does add some bulk. Padding is medium firm but makes a big difference when falling.

These pads are sized properly and provide great padding for skating and snow sports. The fabric I'd soft and comfortable to wear and thr zippers are easy to use. I like that you can remove pads if you want to make them less bulky. I like that the size and shape is true to the proper clothing size. These impact shorts seem durable and I look forward to using them for a long time.
