After having tried at least 8 different brands of padded protective pants in the last few years I think I can speak with some confidence.These TOUY pants are definitely in the top tier of what I've tried. They fit well, are of heavy enough material and construction to last, are decently comfortable AND... Most Importantly- they have a thicker level of padding which covers all the areas needed. Even some that others totally miss. Not only on the sides of the hips but other areas.The tailbone and even frontal areas of these are much better than many pants of this kind.Also, I like the non-slip inner waist band which helps them stay in place longer.

These padded shorts provide excellent protection from falls, offering some safety during high-impact activities. The padding is comfortable and effectively absorbs shock, making them a great choice for safety.

Being an avid mountain biker (MTB), esk8er, and snowboard I am no stranger to padding. These true to size padded shorts fit well. I'm 5'10" 178 and they not snug The feel similar to MTB short pads, but more and thicker. These appear to be softer than D30 padding. I'm going to do everything in my power to not test these out (I'm 51), yet I've worn enough of these to predict performance. Overall the build quality seems to be very good. The crotch area has a large velco fastener so you can do Nr. 1, however I found the velcro to be too aggressive and it'll be easier just to pull it down. You might want to reconsider using these if your snow pants are tight. Mine are average and the fit is a little snug, but not uncomfortable...think glove fit. Overall construction seems robust, the synthetic fabric (90% polyester 10% spandex) has a lot of give and should move well under snow pants. I wore these just over my base layer and it fits nice. Seems like a good product IMHO.

Keeping the body safe for those hard sports. I love this added bit of protection for when you can't predict a fall. It helps keep peace of mind as well for a dangerous sport. The pants are long and stretchy, and protect all the points of the body that you don't want to get hurt.

These shorts are great for many activities that would involve the risk of falling down. I used them for my mountain bike and snowboarding. They are hard to get used to on the bike, because the padding feels a bit thick for it especially with the bike seat. They are better suited for the snowboarding because they fit fine under snowpants, and I appreciate the thicker padding for that. They are well made and pretty comfortable.

This protective gear offers excellent quality for its price. After trying it out with both the top and bottom pieces, I found it highly satisfying. The padding is not overly bulky, with a reasonable size that doesn’t hinder movement, ensuring great mobility. It’s a highly recommended choice for beginners starting winter sports, especially skiing or snowboarding.
