FYI before you get this (and I really think you should get it) you need to make sure that you have a stud to attach the junction box to! You would think wherever there was a like that that would be the case but when you’re renovating an older home, they just have basically a light ball stuck in the ceiling. There may or may not be anything to support this to him I have an electrician coming now. He said it wouldn’t be a big deal but he hasn’t give me a price yet, so if you’re renovating an old house, pull down the existing fixture and just see what you’ve got to work with first but this is well-made and for 90% of the homes I think , this would not be an issue at all. …. I’m just lucky I guess. Lol.

Exactly as described, this beautiful indoor/outdoor light adds a touch of modern, while harkening back to a farmhouse look.Perfect for a porch or even entryway, it adds perfect illumination. The seeded glass is a nice touch and adds a little refracted mystery to the lighting. We used an LED Edison-style bulb to really complete the look.It’s very light (rust-proof, die-cast aluminum), though it looks like it weighs much more and is sturdy, so installation was very easy.Would recommend it to anyone wanting to slightly enhance their current look.

This arrived exactly as described on the advertisement. I have been looking for a fixture to replace the canned light on my front porch. I have a modern farmhouse theme and this light adds a touch of modern, while holding true to the farmhouse look. This light is great for a porch or entryway if you have high ceilings. The glass is a nice touch and mutes the brightness of the lighting. It is lighter than expected , though it looks like it weighs a lot and it is sturdy. I am happy with this light, it completes the look I am doing for on my porch.
