It looks great and the installation was as easy as most lights. The only complaint is that not all of the light is aluminum as advertised, the base is not aluminum.

Wire colors are red, blue, and yellow with a green stripe. Installation instructions state black and white wires. Questionable if this hanging light fixture is constructed to standards for United States. I wonder if UL is legit.

We ordered two for over our island, and decided to add another to the dining area. We are quite pleased with how they look. The cord should be looped through the chain prior to installation. My husband used a binder clip to keep the chain & cord together while hanging and it was a breeze. They have a pretty solid frame. They look great & we like them way better than what the builder installed.

I got this to replace the rusted over blackish hanging light over the porch, gross! It was a cinch to install, did it myself (of course I turned off the breaker, not a risk taker)! The only assistance you’ll need with this someone to tell you how wonderful it looks and that you have single-handedly changed the look of your porch from ugly to wow! I paired this with another Amazon purchase of lights by garage.
