its really thick and serves its purpose perfectly. only thing is that it only folds in half long ways. so how am i supposed to travel with it? its huge and gets in the way so much when not in use. would be perfect for a road trip but very impractical for travel.

This camping mattress for Tesla Model Y seems to be a good fit. It did go all the way to 4 inches, but got somewhat over 3 inches for sure. The cover is nice and overall the mattress felt comfortable to be on. I like it better than dealing with an air mattress. I will update if we get any issues after we take it with us on our first camping trip, but for now it looks good so I will be recommending it.

Another useful mattress for us to use with families or individuals that need short term sleeping solutions while waiting to get help finding housing situations. Our non-profit runs into individuals that find themselves needing housing and being 'homeless' for a variety of reasons. We keep tents and air mattresses available to help out on a temporary basis while new living arrangements are made. This mattress is nice in that it doesn't need air pumps to inflate and can't be suddenly deflated by punctures. Very sturdy and comfortable. Folds in half lengthwise which helps with a smaller storage footprint.

Nice cover fabric. It feels soft and cozy - I like being warm, so this works for me.My only concern is how BIG it is. What do you do with it when you are not using it? We plan to use in a GMC Yukon for trips. I don’t know where we will store this baby. It folds in half, but that appears to be it.

I bought an air mattress fit for Model Y first, and it works but bought a foam one based on recs from friends and not only is this a perfect fit for a 2023 Model Y... it is much more comfortable than an air mattress.Only Con: It's rather big to store vs an air mattressTip: Buy a vacuum mattress bag, it will save some space with storage.
