We absolutely love the look and usability of this graveyard zen garden!It comes with a variety of tools and decorations. It's a good size and is fun and calming to use.The depth of the sand is good.(not too thin or too thick) We love that the depth of the garden walls are high enough that when you pick it up or move it, the sand doesn't easily spill out.That said, because it does have sand, be aware that with static electricity, the sand will stick to EVERYTHING.That doesn't negate the fun and peacefulness that comes with using this Zen garden!

First, I didn't pay attention to the dimensions when I ordered this. When it arrived I was surprised to see how big it is. The skeleton cat and the skull are well designed and detailed. I only have a few issues with it so far. The sand sticks to everything, so if you use a tool, you have to brush the sand off of it back into the garden. The tool to use to smooth out the surface of the sand is too big to fit into all of the spaces. I would rather take a little more time to make a couple more passes over it in a straight line with a smaller tool rather than have to manipulate the angle to get into the smaller spaces with the one that came with it. Some tools I don't know what they are for or they are redundant. Why do I need a period piece looking rake and a modern day looking rake. Yes, the space between the rakes is reduced, but rather than send two different sized period pieced rakes and a modern looking one, make one of the period piece looking ones have its prongs closer together. Then there is the tool that looks like a blade. What is this for?

The zen garden is a fun idea, but for $40 I expect better quality. One of the pieces is broken and items were clearly not packaged very well.
