Très pratique pour le camping car. Et quand on se branche chez la famille, facile de savoir combien on utilise de leur énergie!!

This is a followup review . . . After trying to use this monitor for several days, I found it does not report accurate time. I plugged my laptop into it and started a timer at the same time. After nearly 70 hours reported on the timer (accurate), the unit reported 1 day 13 Hours and 36 minutes (37+ hours). If it can't report time correctly, how can I trust the reported KWhr? I believe the "current", "min," "max" watt draw and other data are correct, but then I have nothing to compare to (this is why I bought this thing). It's remotely possible the device is correct in some way, but I'll never know as the included manual is poorly written and was actually for use with an earlier model. I asked for a replacement in hopes I just got a bad egg. We'll see.

Very good product. Display easy to read. For ease of setting Cost, I simply entered the cost per kwh in $00.00 then divided the cost display by 100. Connected the meter to my computer system to find out how much it was costing to run my computers per day.

Excellent functionality. Appears to be acceptably accurate compared to other meters and my lab-grade Digital Multi-meter (DMM).However, the display is basically impossible to read after the backlight turns off (after ~30 seconds). With the backlight off visibility is not even remotely like the image on the website. The room light (or flashlight) must be very bright to make the digits visible when the backlight is off.To Improve this product by a huge degree (this would be SO simple):When the backlight is ON...it is VERY visible. The backlight LED should be set to user-selectable ALWAYS ON when the unit is plugged-into AC mains (unless their design runs the backlight ONLY from the internal battery...what a poor choice that design would be.)As an engineer, I personally do not understand the auto-power off of the LED backlight unless for some weird reason it gets its power only from the battery.

Some complained that the instructions were bad. Written by Chinese and you have to start at the end to find out how to set it up! A little electricity knowledge is helpful too! I love it attached to my new Ryobli Electric lawn mower. I know now how much KWH I am using and the cost which averages $.20 per mowing of an acre. Could not keep track of that without this!!

As others have noted this unit seems solidly built and offers a nice feature set along with an easy to read display. I use it to monitor power draw from my home theater amps. The only issue I have with it is the flashing blue "activity LED, which is annoying in a darkened room. I did deduct a star due to this and the poor documentation but can still easily recommend this for those who need to monitor usage statistics on household outlets.
