I bought these to replace similar tuning pegs that had warped beyond repair, the worm gear was not making good contact anymore, and it would slip on occasion when retuning. These are nice, I didn't even have to adjust the tightness out of the bag. The gear is smooth and a good ratio for my needs.

I have wanted some open back tuners for my 1981 Epiphone PR350 for some time but could not find anything that attracted me for the price then I found these , they look the part and function ok. they seem stable and the 18/1 ratio is better than the original. however the tuners I removed where the bolted post type which meant I had to build up the ferrule diameter of these which was easy enough using PTFE tape to get them to fit snug. functionality is good with accurate tuning. they look great and vintage, very happy at this price.

These fit my Ibanez perfectly. They drastically improved the look of the guitar, it has some boutique charm now. They hold tune very well, I haven't noticed any issues with stability. Best of all, I was looking for tuners that would be more comfortable to turn, and these are ergonomic and feel great to the fingertip. Very smooth gear movement, well-made

After returning an expensive name brand set of tuning pegs with terrible quality, I was delighted with these. Not only do they look great, the gears move without any grinding and are very smooth and stable. They also matched the holes on the guitar, no extra work required.

knobs are not identical from one set to the next.I needed a set of 6xL's, so i had to get 2 sets of 3x3's to do it.and the wood on the knobs on the two sets is not even close to the same!one is as pictured; the other is rather blonde wood - like they forgot to stain it or something.they both look nice, so for a 3x3 build they'd be ok, unless you want the dark wood knobs.I ended up ordering 2 more sets in an attempt to get one set of left hand tuners with at least similar looking knobs. that's like over $100 in order to try to get one set of 6xL's!If they still don't match, I'll have to go with copper Guykers or something.

I used these on a license plate guitar, and they work great. I haven't had any loosening, or rattle issues from them at all. I wanted wood tuners, just to match the guitar better, and the stain I used really matches very prettily with them. I would totally recommend these. They were easy to install, work great, and look sick. I see absolutely no downside. Will get again for new projects.

I was surprised at the quality of these tuners, especially for the price. They're sturdy and professionally built. Additionally they're great looking as well. I can't comment on their longevity yet so we'll see. Only one catch. The grommets require a 21/64 hole which is 1/32 bigger than typical grommets, meaning, once the guitar is drilled that size that's it. You'll have to find the same size grommet if you ever have to replace them again.
